You’ll serve as the critical link between senior MTA Real Estate leadership, retail tenants and sub-tenant teams (architects, general contractors, electricians), master tenants and the agencies within the MTA (New York City Transit, Long Island Railroad and Metro North Railroad) facilitating retail buildouts and openings.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Defining Success:</span> The ideal candidate is a self-starter, critical thinker and a natural connector. They love solving problems, asking questions, and pushing boundaries. They’re driven by results and energized by relationships.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> This role is located in Manhattan, New York and will be required to be on-site 3-4 days a week and as required for in-person meetings, site visits and inspections.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct briefings and provides regular updates to senior MTA leadership concerning project status and key milestones of the Retail Design &amp; Construction Portfolio.</li>\n<li>Supervise a team of project managers that conduct MEP plan review, aesthetics review and ensure code compliance.</li>\n<li>Regularly interact with leadership across the agencies (NYCT, LIRR, MNR, AMTRAK) to drive project completion.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement optimized tracking and reporting systems that drastically improve the timeliness and accuracy of information to senior MTA leadership.</li>\n<li>Facilitate plan reviews (architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, etc.) and coordinate site visits and inspections with multiple stakeholders and approving agencies.</li>\n<li>Ensures construction timelines are adhered to and eliminates roadblocks to completion.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who You Are:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years experience in the AEC industry.</li>\n<li>Experienced in retail construction management.</li>\n<li>Organizational leadership experience; excellent communication, time management, and administration skills.</li>\n<li>Experienced in daily interactions (briefings, reports, status updates) with C-Suite executives.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering, architecture).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Event Better (but not required):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience working with MTA preferred.</li>\n<li>Familiar with New York State Building Code</li>\n<li>PMP, CCM and OSHA-30 are a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
