Interested applicants must submit a resume; applications will be accepted until the position is filled.&nbsp; CORI/SORI/MVR.</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>The candidate will work fully onsite and must be available for on-call duties in the surrounding area on a rotating schedule and as needed (pay differential applicable).</em></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ensure rental properties are kept in neat and orderly condition by cleaning common areas, basements, exterior grounds, laundry rooms, and trash collection areas</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform routine painting and minor repairs including minor plumbing, screen replacement, smoke and carbon monoxide detector installation and maintenance, and other repairs</li>\r\n\t<li>Work in collaboration with Maintenance Technician III&rsquo;s on advanced repairs including plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, HVAC maintenance, mold and lead paint remediation, appliance maintenance, sheetrocking, and other improvements</li>\r\n\t<li>Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating to Property Manager for determination as to the action to be taken</li>\r\n\t<li>Identify and communicate to supervisor other needed maintenance, repairs, and improvements to building structures and equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Compete work order or repair documentation in a clear and timely manner</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete weekly property/building inspections</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete preventive maintenance and cleaning/maintenance logs</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor properties&rsquo; mechanical systems on a regular schedule for proper functioning</li>\r\n\t<li>Show apartments/buildings to various inspectors and other officials, exterminators, and contractors as necessary</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed procedures, using appropriate or required personal protective equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform on-call duties as assigned</li>\r\n\t<li>Travel to other locations in the organization&rsquo;s portfolio as required</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Requirements include:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>2 years&#39; equivalent experience in maintenance, or a related role, with 1 year as a field specialist; a combination of experience plus an Associate degree or technical certification may be a substitute</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance, cleaning processes, and performing simple mechanical repairs</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read and interpret work orders, instructions, and simple diagrams</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to complete basic forms and write basic correspondence when necessary</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience using various&nbsp;hand tools, simple power tools, and measuring instruments</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer/phone applications, and comfort learning new technologies</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrated attention-to-detail in work performed</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to regularly work outside of business hours according to on-call schedule</li>\r\n\t<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills appreciated&nbsp;but not required&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record; reliable vehicle</strong></li>\r\n\t<li>CORI/SORI</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Way Finders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
