You will be hands-on with real equipment, setting up systems, running test scenarios, collecting and validating data, and ensuring simulator availability for customer demos, developmental testing, and field events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering, disciplined execution, and fast-paced troubleshooting, from cable-level issues and timing faults to configuration control and field logistics. Pay Range $85,000 - $163,000 The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Troubleshoot hardware and integration issues across power, I/O, networking, timing, and sensors/actuators; coordinate fixes with engineering teams. Calibrate and verify simulator outputs/inputs using lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM, power supplies) and documented procedures. Maintain configuration control: versions, wiring diagrams, asset inventory, spares, and change tracking for lab and field baselines. Collect, label, and validate test data; produce run notes, quick-look results, and issue summaries for after-action reviews. Support logistics for field events: packing, transport, site setup, environmental checks, and compliance with customer/site safety rules. Contribute to documentation: operator checklists, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials. Qualifications BS in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience). 2 years of experience Working knowledge of common interfaces and networks (Ethernet, serial/UART, CAN, GPIO; SPI/I2C a plus). Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux; comfortable with command line tools and basic scripting for setup/log collection (Python/Bash helpful). Experience troubleshooting with standard lab tools (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) and interpreting logs/telemetry. Comfort with cables/harnesses, connectors, rack equipment, and safe power practices; able to follow detailed procedures and checklists. Strong documentation habits and communication skills; able to produce clear run notes and concise issue reports.
