Accessible only by air, the lodge combines authentic northern adventure with exceptional guest service in a dynamic off-grid environment.</p>\n<p>We are building a strong operational team focused on leadership, collaboration, safety, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences in the North.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">The Opportunity</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Lodge Manager to support the day-to-day execution of lodge operations and guest experience delivery at Blachford Lodge.</p>\n<p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, enjoys leading teams, and is excited by the opportunity to live and work in a remote northern setting. You will play a key role in supporting daily lodge operations, coordinating guest services, supervising frontline teams, and helping maintain a high standard of operational excellence.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Daily Lodge Operations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate daily operational schedules and guest programming</li>\n<li>Support front-of-house operations including guest services, housekeeping, and activity coordination</li>\n<li>Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently</li>\n<li>Respond to changing operational priorities and guest needs</li>\n<li>Help maintain readiness of lodge spaces, staff, and guest equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Guest Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for guests during their stay</li>\n<li>Deliver exceptional and personalized guest experiences</li>\n<li>Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address concerns</li>\n<li>Support activities, events, and daily guest programming</li>\n<li>Maintain a strong guest-facing presence throughout operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and support frontline staff including housekeeping, bartenders, guides, and guest services team members</li>\n<li>Provide daily direction, coaching, and operational support</li>\n<li>Assist with onboarding and training of new staff</li>\n<li>Foster a respectful, collaborative, and accountable team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Administration &amp; Coordination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain operational logs, guest records, and shift continuity documentation</li>\n<li>Support scheduling and payroll tracking through Connecteam</li>\n<li>Assist with incident reporting and operational documentation</li>\n<li>Help coordinate communication between departments and operational teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inventory &amp; Guest Services Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track guest-facing inventory including bar supplies and consumables</li>\n<li>Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs</li>\n<li>Support lodge readiness for incoming guest groups and seasonal operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3–5 years of experience in hospitality, tourism, lodge, or remote operations</li>\n<li>Experience supervising or leading frontline teams</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li>\n<li>Ability to adapt quickly and manage competing priorities</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and leadership skills</li>\n<li>Experience in remote or northern environments is considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Working Environment</span></p>\n<p>This is a remote northern hospitality position based primarily at Blachford Lodge, with rotational periods that may include work from the Yellowknife office depending on operational needs.
