The individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of accounting records as well as assisting the Head of Finance with the preparation of management accounts.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What you'll do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Managing the collection of receivable balances;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Issuing and / or reviewing of invoices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Managing the payroll process;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Preparing and / or reviewing revenue &amp; profit share workings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Supervising and guiding junior team members to ensure accuracy and up-to-date bookkeeping of both the payables and receivables ledgers;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Compiling / reviewing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and Recap declarations;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting in year-end processes, preparing financial statements, and liaising with auditors to perform statutory audit and maintain an effective working relationship with them;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Preparing reports, bank reconciliations and other related ad-hoc analysis;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Liaising with other departments and stakeholders within the company to ensure effective communication and provide / obtain the necessary information whenever required;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance (depending upon the need and urgency of tasks).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What we're looking for</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">In possession of a degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification, or in the final stages of attaining said qualification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">At least 3-4 years work experience working in a similar position</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Trustworthy, and detail oriented</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication, and organisational skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work diligently on own initiative to meet deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Be an effective team player with a positive “can do” attitude</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work experience within audit / taxation background is an asset</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary, a lucrative commission structure, and private health care benefits, with opportunities for performance-based incentives</li>\n<li>Flexibility: Benefit from flexible work schedules that fit your lifestyle and working preferences</li>\n<li>Vibrant Culture: Join a dynamic and energetic work environment alongside driven and passionate colleagues</li>\n<li>Career Advancement: Excellent opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your career in an exciting and expanding industry</li>\n</ul>",
