From construction management and observation/inspection services to laboratory testing and materials and forensic engineering, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America's infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Kleinfelder's Austin, Texas office is seeking an Experienced Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory, to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications and geotechnical engineering purposes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Technician will perform testing on soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials, and review testing data for accuracy and specification compliance. Must be detail oriented. Technician may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Certifications (or ability to obtain) include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I</li>\n <li>Texas DOT Certification Soils, Aggregates, and / or Asphalt </li>\n <li>ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician</li>\n <li>ACI Aggregate Testing Technician</li>\n <li>ACI Lab Testing Technician</li>\n <li>Texas DOT Certifications: 1B, SB 101, SB 201, SB 202</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills through company provided training and mentoring. Depending on the amount of certifications already obtained, you will also be encouraged to obtain any remaining certifications as this is a company requirement. This is a career opportunity to become a member of a highly successful, fast-paced team with a steady and growing backlog of large projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
