Our team provides excellent service to our clients, all while nurturing communities, acting with integrity, and hustling to get the job done.</p><p>A reliable HVAC &amp; Refrigeration Technician who is always prepared.</p><p>Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing Package units, Split systems, Mini splits, Swamp coolers, Cooling, towers, Chillers, Reach-ins, Walk-ins, Ice machines, Coolers, Freezers.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.</p><p>&bull; Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.</p><p>&bull; Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.</p><p>&bull; Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.</p><p>&bull; Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.</p><p>&bull; Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.</p><p>&bull; Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers&#39; requirements.</p><p>&bull; Assisting with customers&#39; queries.</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><p>&bull; 4+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.</p><p>&bull; Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</p><p>&bull; Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.</p><p>&bull; Working knowledge of boiler systems.</p><p>&bull; Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.</p><p>&bull; Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.</p><p>&bull; Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.</p><p>&bull; Ability to work in confined spaces.</p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a similar environment.</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>&bull; Must have experience in maintenance, repairs and replacement</p><p>&bull; Must have experience with HVAC, Refrigeration and Low temp;</p><p>&bull; Commercial single phase and 3 phase units up to minimum of 20 tons</p><p><strong>Preferred</strong>:</p><p>&bull; Minimum 4 years of experience as an HVAC Tech focusing on residential and Commercial.</p><p>&bull; Basic computer skills.
