    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Come join our team at Seldovia Village Tribe (SVT)!</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">No weekends or on-call hours!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">The mission of SVT Health &amp; Wellness is to improve the health of all people in our communities (both native and non-native) by providing quality, respectful, caring and culturally-appropriate primary, holistic and preventative care.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span>  Full-time, 40 hours per week (either five 8 hour days, or four 10 hour days)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary Range:</span> $140,000 per year and up, DOE.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do:</span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Be responsible for the provision of direct primary clinical health, wellness and preventative health care in an ambulatory primary care clinic setting for community members residing in and around Homer, Anchor Point and Seldovia, Alaska.   </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Provide comprehensive, cost-effective acute and chronic primary and preventative health care to patients and their families within scope of training, capabilities, and license criteria as a health care provider</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"> Participate in counseling of chronic and infectious disease patients, treatment and medical care </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"> Coordinate and conduct support groups, health education and health promotion activities in subjects related to physical and emotional health.   </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"> Function as a patient advocate; conduct follow up care and coordinate care with other health care providers and make appropriate referrals for patient continuity of care. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"> Participate in strategic planning and development of policy and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\"> Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Be able to travel as needed to other communities including Anchor Point, to and from Homer / Seldovia by small airplane and sometimes by boat when airplanes are on weather hold. Travel is a day trip, but inclement weather may require an overnight stay.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Need:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Master's Degree in Nursing; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by an approved national certifying body; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Unrestricted DEA Certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">State of Alaska Advanced practice Nurse license OR ability to attain within 3 months of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment background check including fingerprinting.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Get:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off) each year! Insurance is effective the first day of the pay period after we receive your enrollment form.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Dental and Vision insurance available on the first of the month following 90 days of employment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Group life insurance up to a maximum of $250K.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Long term disability insurance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Employer matching 401K, 5% match, effective January 1 or July 1, following one year of employment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt\">Wellness Incentive Program, up to $300 per calendar year for full-time employees, or $150 for part-time employees, effective after 90 days of employment.
