With competitive pay and benefits, stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, Iowa Premium could become your next career move.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competitive wages and benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Family-friendly benefits including health, vision and dental</li>\n <li>401K Retirement Plan with company match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation</li>\n <li>Employee Meat Purchase Sales</li>\n <li>Paid Life Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>For more information on Iowa Premium, Click Here!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Fabrication  Production Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Supervising all production activities in accordance with plant policies, programs, and standards concerning safety, quality, productivity and cost</p></li>\n <li><p>Providing continual leadership and guidance to team members for the purpose of increasing their effectiveness and establishing good working relationships</p></li>\n <li><p>Actively promoting plant safety and environmental programs and procedures that are in compliance with plant and regulatory requirements</p></li>\n <li><p>Actively promoting adherence to plant Quality, Sanitation, GMP and HACCP standards to achieve a finished product within quality control specifications</p></li>\n <li><p>Managing staffing levels to current labor standards requirements</p></li>\n <li><p>Assigning responsibilities to team members, as required to meet planned production schedules</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinating the proper training of team members within the assigned department</p></li>\n <li><p>Applying disciplinary actions in accordance with plant policies and procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Investigating production delays and taking corrective action as necessary</p></li>\n <li><p>Keeping management informed of the status of production and promptly notifying management of issues impacting production</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinating the storage and rework of quality control hold products with appropriate plant personnel</p></li>\n <li><p>Promoting an environment conducive to teams, teamwork, and line-driven accountability</p></li>\n <li><p>Completing special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate</p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is an on-site position.  This is a safety sensitive position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified candidates for the Fabrication Production Supervisor position should possess the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience</p></li>\n <li><p>Professional experience within packaging/food products industry, preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with continuous improvement methodologies preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience working with a diverse group of people</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to maintain high expectations for self and others, demonstrating a dedication to achievement of results</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to analyze data and information, and to make effective and timely decision</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to use innovative approaches to resolve complex problems</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work under pressure and to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization</p></li>\n <li><p>Solid problem-solving, project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Detail-oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
