    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We’re seeking a Program Manager to support design and development programs while leading engineering efforts for the intelligence community. The PM’s activities will be conducted primarily in the Washington, DC metro area.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Pay Range $146,000 - $239,000</em></p>\n<p><em>The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of projects.</li>\n <li>Provide subject matter expertise on respective requirements and standards. Directly oversee project management, managing of technical teams, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and DoD customers.</li>\n <li>Align with strategic goals and objectives of the Portfolio. Responsible for growth, development, and nurturing of people, programs, capabilities, and execution activities</li>\n <li>Responsible for the overall development life cycle for the environment and the ability to manage complex projects on schedule and within budget.</li>\n <li>Work with customers, senior officials, and engineers to develop a strategy and road map that provides compelling and value-add innovations and new capabilities.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments.</li>\n <li>Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services.</li>\n <li>Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values.</li>\n <li>Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals to the organization.</li>\n <li>Organize, direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for the business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.</li>\n <li>Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Prefer experience working within the Intelligence Community.</li>\n <li>Prefer experience working AI/ML Projects.</li>\n <li>Hands-on technical expertise preferred.</li>\n <li>Solid background of leading projects and teams.</li>\n <li>Strong business and technical vision. </li>\n <li>Exceptional customer relationship skills to include the ability to uncover true requirements, recommend alternative solutions and approaches, and lead engineering efforts that meet aggressive timelines.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and comfortable with independent and team problem solving.</li>\n <li>Excellent organization skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent with Oral and Written Communications.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and demanding customers.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimillion-dollar design and development program to include estimates at complete (EAC) and other cost accounting methods.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>About i3</h2>\n<p>i3 is a technically diverse, 100% team member owned business, headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama specializing in missile and aviation systems engineering and logistic services, electronic warfare and electromagnetic effects analysis, UAS system integration and flight operations, full lifecycle C5ISR engineering services, cybersecurity and IT/IA innovative solutions and virtual training, simulation & serious game development and implementation.
