    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Mechanical Engineer (AE), Technical Operations – EMEA</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Summary</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The Senior Mechanical Engineer provides technical leadership and governance for mechanical and cooling infrastructure across STACK Infrastructure’s EMEA portfolio.</p>\n<p>Acting as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for Mechanical Safety Rules, you will help shape how critical cooling and mechanical systems are designed, commissioned, operated and maintained across multiple European markets.</p>\n<p>Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Delivery and vendor partners, you will influence the resilience, efficiency and performance of infrastructure supporting a rapidly expanding data centre portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to shape cooling and mechanical infrastructure strategies across a growing portfolio of hyperscale and mission-critical facilities.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical leadership and expert guidance on mechanical and cooling systems across the EMEA portfolio.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain mechanical engineering standards, equipment specifications and resilience strategies aligned to STACK operational requirements.</li>\n<li>Support modelling, performance analysis and validation of mechanical and cooling systems.</li>\n<li>Review design and engineering documentation, technical submissions and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with operational and performance requirements.</li>\n<li>Support commissioning, operational acceptance and handover activities for new facilities, expansions and major upgrades.</li>\n<li>Define and assure operational acceptance criteria, testing requirements and documentation standards to support successful transition into live operations.</li>\n<li>Serve as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for Mechanical Safety Rules, ensuring robust governance, safe systems of work and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.</li>\n<li>Support asset lifecycle planning, reliability initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the portfolio.</li>\n<li>Conduct technical assurance reviews and site audits, identifying opportunities to improve safety, resilience and operational performance.</li>\n<li>Provide technical escalation support during major incidents, supporting high-quality root cause analysis and corrective action planning.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve cooling performance, operational efficiency and water utilisation.</li>\n<li>Provide technical oversight of vendors, contractors and service providers, ensuring consistency and quality across facilities.</li>\n<li>Coach and mentor engineers and operational teams, supporting capability development across the EMEA portfolio.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Bring</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience working with mission-critical mechanical and cooling infrastructure, ideally within data centre environments.</li>\n<li>Experience reviewing and supporting the design of mission-critical mechanical systems.</li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of cooling systems, mechanical plant and critical infrastructure used within high-availability facilities.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of resilience, operational risk management and asset lifecycle considerations within live critical environments.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting design reviews, commissioning, operational acceptance and technical assurance activities.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to develop engineering standards, governance frameworks and operational best practices.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a structured approach to risk management and decision-making.</li>\n<li>Ability to influence, coach and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations and delivery teams.</li>\n<li>Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.</li>\n<li>Professional accreditation or chartership is desirable.</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal English language skills.</li>\n<li>Experience working across multiple European markets is advantageous.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cosa offriamo / </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we Offer</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fascia Retributiva (RAL): 56.000 € - 71.000 € + premio di risultato.</li>\n<li>Contratto CCNL Commercio (Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi).</li>\n<li>Buoni pasto e piano welfare aziendale.</li>\n<li>Assistenza sanitaria e accesso al fondo pensione Font.Te, secondo quanto previsto dal CCNL.</li>\n<li>Contribuirai allo sviluppo e alla gestione di infrastrutture digitali mission-critical, operando in alcuni degli ambienti data centre più avanzati d'Europa.</li>\n<li>Cresci con STACK, acquisendo esperienza su progetti di grande scala e cogliendo concrete opportunità di crescita professionale all'interno di una piattaforma europea in forte espansione.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>La fascia retributiva indicata rappresenta il range previsto per il ruolo.
