font-size: 9pt\">Duties and responsibilities of the  Medical Assistant are:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Assesses the full scope of patient needs and assist medical provider when meeting with the patient.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Provides a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Cooperates with distribution of resources to maintain a therapeutic environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and co-workers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Accountable for medical practice through planned and continuous professional growth and development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet the medical needs of patient.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Assist with calling in medications for family practice patients. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Maintains Prior Authorizations and Referrals for medical services when needed. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Assists with EKG and PFT testing within the office.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">High School Diploma or GED</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Certified Medical Assistant in Kentucky.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Minimum 1 year medical experience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish/maintain a safe work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional medical to provide ongoing patient care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Skill in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt\">Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;
