    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Role Description:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;We are looking for a skilled <strong>Robotic Weld Technician</strong> to join our team and help us push the limits of steel and aluminum fabrication using state-of-the-art robotic mig welding systems. &nbsp;Weld Technician will be working within and supporting a welding team production environment.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with competence. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additional job duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Provide technical support in developing and improving welding processes</li><li>Set up fixtures and jigs for aluminum/steel welding applications</li><li>Experience with weld path programming and touch-up techniques</li><li>Familiarity with weld inspection criteria (AWS D1.1, D1.2 is a plus)</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and use measuring tools</li><li>Previous manual Mig welding experience is a plus</li><li>Troubleshoot part fit-up problems</li><li>Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot weld defects</li><li>Knowledge of robot programming and general welding maintenance (Fanuc, Kuka)</li><li>Controls knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, SLC 500 and SLC 5000 family of controls and HMI)</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize weld parameters</li><li>Maintain equipment and follow all safety standards</li></ul><p>Employees are expected to follow all standards listed below:</p><ul><li>Consistently exhibit reliable attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.</li><li>Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area.</li><li>Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and leaders.&nbsp;</li><li>Effectively communicate with co-workers and management to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.</li><li>Consistently adhere to and support company policies and procedures, including ISO14001, IATF16949, and safety regulations.</li><li>Accept instructions and perform job duties in a productive and team-oriented manner.</li><li>Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect.</li><li>Actively support the Globe Tech values. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>Work environment characteristics are representative of those that may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
