This project specific opportunity offers a competitive salary, employee benefits (including health insurance and time-off provisions) Highway or Airport construction experience highly desired.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Responsibilities include:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performing daily construction inspection services including acting as a liaison between the Owner and contractor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducting hands-on inspections, ensuring work is completed according to the plans and specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Notifying Owner of problems and deviations from plans and specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Tracking quantities for payment, completing daily inspection reports, creating and verifying punch-list work</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Homeowner/tenant interaction and other associated responsibilities related to the construction process.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel &amp; Word</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work within various project management software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to maintain a daily job log and records</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High degree of Interpersonal skills</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Desired Education &amp; Experience</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Three to Five years of related experience in Highway or Airport construction or a Bachelor/Associates degree in Construction Management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspection experience in the construction industry</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret designs and specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience using Appia</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Additionally, full-time permanent employment is a possibility for airport construction projects across the country if the candidate successfully completes work on this project and has the following:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to identify non-compliance items and proper procedures for correction.
