To achieve this objective, we have built a trusted payment infrastructure that allows consumers and businesses (African and International) to make and receive payments in a convenient borderless manner.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">The Role: </span><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Flutterwave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate, Enterprise Risk Management. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The Associate, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's enterprise risk management framework. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks across business functions, while partnering with stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. The Associate will contribute to risk assessments, issue management, risk reporting, governance activities, and the promotion of a strong risk culture throughout the organization.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support the execution of enterprise-wide risk assessments and risk profiling exercises.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Facilitate the identification, evaluation, and documentation of strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, technology, and third-party risks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assist business units in maintaining risk registers and ensuring risks are appropriately assessed and mitigated.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments that may impact the organization.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Track key risk indicators (KRIs), risk appetite metrics, and control effectiveness measures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Prepare periodic risk reports, dashboards, and management presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor risk treatment plans and escalate overdue or high-risk items as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support the aggregation and analysis of risk data to identify trends and areas requiring management attention.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate risk governance activities, including committee meetings, risk reviews, and action tracking.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ensure risk documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in designated systems of record.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support issue management activities, including issue identification, risk rating, remediation tracking, validation, and closure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with business teams to assess root causes and develop effective remediation plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor the status of corrective actions and provide updates to management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support third-party risk assessments and ongoing vendor risk monitoring activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Participate in risk reviews for new products, projects, initiatives, and strategic changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Promote risk awareness and a strong risk culture across the organization.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support the development and delivery of risk training and awareness programs.</span><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Required competency and skillset to be a waver:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management or a related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">2-4 years of experience in risk management project management, or a related field within the fintech or financial services industry</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Good understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies and processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights from complex data sets to support decision-making and risk assessment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in risk management tools and technologies, including risk analytics software, data visualization tools, and project management platforms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
