    "description_html": "<p>Texas Biomed is growing its accounting team and adding an <strong>Accounts Receivable Specialist</strong>. This position will perform accounting functions associated with accounts receivable and other financial transactions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>· Assists with AR customer billing to include setting up customers, preparing invoices, and collections.</p><p>· Enters financial data entries into the accounting system for processing, review and approval.</p><p>· Responds to internal and external requests for documentation or information, updating or researching information as needed to ensure quick resolution to issue.</p><p>· Prepares and maintains various files, schedules and spreadsheets, as needed.</p><p>· Assist in importing data in the accounting system, such as award templates, budget modifications, financial data such as GL accounts, posting dates, etc.</p><p>· Assist in preparing journal entries and various adjusting entries for review and approval.</p><p>· Assist in reconciling various general ledger accounts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate:</strong></p><p>· High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance related field form an accredited college/university preferred</p><p>· 4+ years accounting experience required&nbsp;</p><p>· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Excel and Word &nbsp;</p><p>· Knowledge of principles and practices of general accounting and financial record keeping</p><p>· Ability to prepare clear and concise reports</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Can Offer You!&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Enjoy an employee-centered culture grounded in open communication, empowerment, and trust.
