    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job description</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Mountain Engineering has an immediate full-time opening based out of our Folsom, CA office for an experienced, mid to upper level, Substation Project Manager with a positive, results-oriented attitude and the experience to lead and provide valuable input to project teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Substation Project Manager responsibilities include working with project teams to provide technical and project management leadership on large, fast-paced utility substation construction projects. Duties will include the developing, planning, coordinating and the fulfillment of all technical requirements related to execution of assigned projects. The candidate must possess the ability to coordinate all project communication interdepartmentally with the project owner when appropriate, while representing the company in day-to-day project tasks and activities.  Successful candidates should have relevant experience in electrical substation project management for large-scale construction projects. Our ideal candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with specified experience within the utility construction industry.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements &amp; Responsibilities include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three to Five years of office and field management or technical services experience related to 15kV to 500kV utility Civil substation construction, including experience in mid-level management.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or equivalent work experience.</li>\n<li>Experience managing Greenfield and Brownfield Substation Projects.</li>\n<li>Experience with Utility Substation Civil Construction</li>\n<li>Responsible for planning, budgeting and establishing/achieving project objectives.</li>\n<li>Responsible for Project Safety, Quality and Profitability.</li>\n<li>Possesses knowledge of permitting, planning, estimating, procurement and material management.</li>\n<li>Work closely with the Project Team to confirm deliverables and services are being provided to the client’s satisfaction.</li>\n<li>Report regularly on progress, cost, profit, schedule, design considerations, and project risks.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office. Experience in Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software is preferred.</li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management and clients.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Willingness to work outside and travel as required.</li>\n<li>This position will be based out of our office in Folsom CA.
