    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic; text-decoration: underline\">Position Description</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The Agnes Irwin School, a PreK through 12 all-girls’ school in Rosemont, PA, is looking for</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">an experienced Varsity Crew Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is responsible for the growth and continued development of the Varsity Crew program at Agnes Irwin. This is a three season (fall, winter, spring) position and requires extensive sculling experience and background in management of crew boats and equipment. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Leadership of the Varsity Crew program as head coach</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Increase participation numbers of student-athletes participating in crew program </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Build and strategize training and competition plans for three seasons of rowing</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Fall - club training season</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Winter - training season </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Spring - high school competition season</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate practice sessions and training programs with an emphasis on athletic</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">growth and development as well as safety</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Attend all practices and regattas; coach team to build cohesive and competitive success on the water</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Promote a positive attitude, academic achievement, personal growth and leadership development through participation as a rower</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Manage and maintain program’s extensive equipment inventory</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Hire, if needed, and supervise assistant coaches</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assist student-athletes in the college recruiting process</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Recruit student-athletes of high academic and athletic potential to Agnes Irwin</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Comply with all Agnes Irwin procedures and policies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Experience sculling and coaching sculling, and teaching skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the student-athletes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Experience developing rowing athletes, leading/coordinating a team of coaches, and developing and advancing a long-term program vision and plan</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Evidenced ability to maintain and consistently exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, sportsmanship and respect</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proven organizational and motivational skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated abilities in communication and community relations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students, staff, administration, and parents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Experience working with an Athletic Trainer, ensuring student-athletes receive proper medical and physical training services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">CPR/First Aid certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Boater safety course</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
