This role combines field surveillance with biological and chemical mosquito treatments to help control mosquito populations and reduce breeding habitats.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Technicians work under the direction of a certified supervisor and perform treatments using backpack equipment and motorized scooters while collecting data and inspecting properties for mosquito activity and breeding sites.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, environmental field operation, and hands-on problem solving. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Inspect private and public properties for adult mosquitoes, larvae, and potential breeding habitats</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Perform mosquito control treatments including <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">adulticides, larvicides, and habitat management</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Conduct larval treatments in municipal catch basins using motorized scooters</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Accurately record surveillance and treatment data using <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">iPad-based reporting software</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients during inspections or treatments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Safely operate all equipment and follow proper safety protocols, including required PPE</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Mix pesticides and diluents accurately following company and regulatory guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Fill and maintain sprayers and application equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Maintain vehicles, wash trucks, and clean equipment to ensure a professional public presence</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">General Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Must be <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">at least 18 years old</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to remain insurable</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Strong basic math skills and understanding of ratios</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Effective communication, problem solving, organizational, and customer service skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Ability to walk for extended periods while carrying up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">50 lbs of equipment</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Ability to work outdoors in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Demonstrate maturity, flexibility, self-confidence, and strong work ethic</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Flexibility to work <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">extended hours during peak season </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;
