This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises and monitors the internal and external recreation activities of the facility focusing on client engagement.</li>\n <li>Maintains the inventory of recreation equipment and items.</li>\n <li>Organizes trips for clients seeking cultural activities that meet the needs of the changing client system.</li>\n <li>Plans and organizes special facility events.</li>\n <li>Develops linkages with external recreational programs and facilities.</li>\n <li>Act as a liaison between the site and community-based recreational resources.</li>\n <li>Maintains trip logs for agency vehicles.</li>\n <li>Attends on-site case reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Will Be</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Someone with a High School or Equivalency Diploma.  </li>\n <li>At least two years prior experience in providing recreation services preferably in a Human Services agency.</li>\n <li>Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DHS regulations and systems (CARES) preferred </li>\n <li>Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and children</li>\n <li>Knowledge of recreational programming and fundamentals of recreational sports and activities</li>\n <li>Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR.</li>\n <li>Willingness to utilize company vehicles to transport and escort clients as needed. </li>\n <li>Flexibility and patience are a must for this role.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#li-onsite</p>",
