You will be installing, setting up and maintaining computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality within the facility. A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of various computer software and hardware, a variety of applications, networks, and operating systems. You must possess an attention to detail and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is flexible and can accept a tentative 6-month contract for this position. There is the possibility for this contract to turn into a permanent position.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Main responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Providing on-site support to our facility.&nbsp;</li><li>Set up workstation with computers and necessary devices (routers, printer etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems with programs and apps.&nbsp;</li><li>Resolving network issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with network move over to a corporate structure.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with and troubleshoot phone lines for staff.&nbsp;</li><li>General system administration (passwords, emails, accounts, access)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Managing the database for Microsoft Access.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Requirements:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>2+ years&rsquo; experience with:&nbsp;<ul><li>Handling common desktop issues&nbsp;</li><li>Physical setup of workstations, routers, hardware, phone lines etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Prior experience in a tech support, desktop support or a similar role&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Database systems.&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
