Description

River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for a Call Center Professional to join our team in Delta, CO. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of additions/corrections made to patient accounts processed through the Electronic Medical and Dental Records, telephone calls accepted or placed, patient messages returned, and follow up as needed/processed through the Electronic Medical and Dental Records, coordination of patient counseling on all financial programs offered at River Valley, successful completion of patient payment posting, and maintenance of patient records. A day in the life of a Call Center Professional includes: Answering phone calls and providing great customer service, by verifying patient information, counseling patients in financial policies, scheduling and rescheduling of appointments, etc. Transferring patients to the appropriate person when required to do so. Covering the front desk when needed, by checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays and payments for visits. Creating new patients in the system. And so much more! Compensation and Benefits $17.00 - $18.22/hour, depending on experience and certifications Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life & Disability Insurance AFLAC Supplemental Insurance 401(k) Matching with participation after 90-days Employee Assistant and Wellness Programs Generous PTO accruing and available from the first day of employment Continuing Education Opportunities Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license preferred. Bilingual skills are required. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others. Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with individuals and groups of diverse racial, ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds. Written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to travel between clinics as needed. This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
