Join a high-impact federal program as a Senior OSH leader providing critical safety oversight across regional TSA operations.
This role is contingent upon contract award and offers the opportunity to serve as the dedicated Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) lead for a specific TSA region (Western, North Central, South Central, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or Southeast). In this role, you will provide focused safety leadership, compliance support, and industrial hygiene expertise across your assigned region
Western - Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming North Central - North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. South Central - Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas Northeast – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont Mid Atlantic – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia Southeast Region - Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. General Description
The Senior Certified Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Specialist will support a federal Occupational Safety and Health Support Services contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This position will provide regional safety oversight, industrial hygiene expertise, and compliance support across TSA facilities within the assigned region. The Senior Certified Occupational Safety and Health Specialist will serve as the designated regional OSH subject matter expert.
How You Will Fulfill Your Mission
Provide regional Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) oversight across assigned TSA facilities. Conduct workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and industrial hygiene evaluations. Conduct formal annual OSH inspections and document findings in TSA’s Safety Information System (SIS) in accordance with regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance on OSHA compliance and federal safety standards. Perform and support Baseline Hazard Analyses (BHA), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and formal safety audits. Evaluate workplace exposure risks including chemical, physical, and ergonomic hazards. Prepare technical reports, corrective action recommendations, and compliance documentation. Support incident investigations and root cause analysis. Coordinate with TSA regional leadership and HQ stakeholders. Serve as OSHA Point of Contact during workplace inspections. Track corrective actions related to employee injuries, illnesses, and workplace incidents. Support regional injury rate reduction initiatives and performance metrics. Deliver and lead occupational safety and health training programs, including the development and customization of course materials as needed. Travel throughout assigned states as required. Specific Knowledge/Certification Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in occupational safety and/or industrial hygiene. Must hold and maintain an active Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification in good standing. Demonstrated experience conducting workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance audits. Experience supporting federal agencies or federal contractors preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a Pub. ic Trust clearance. Must be able to travel throughout the assigned region and respond to major TSA hub airport requirements on short notice as operationally required. Preferred Qualifications

Moderate travel throughout the assigned region is required, including short-notice travel to major TSA hub airports as operationally necessary. Must possess reliable transportation and be able to access and work on federal facilities in accordance with contract and client requirements. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required federal background investigations and drug testing.
