That’s why we have created a program that provides employees with access to a wide variety of options that can be personalized to support you and your loved ones physically, emotionally, and financially. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits include, competitive salaries, auto allowances and gas cards for certain roles, access to market leading medical and emotional and mental health benefits, dental, and vision insurance plans, virtual care options for physical therapy and primary care, generous paid time off, 401k plan with employer match and access to expert financial resources, company paid and voluntary life insurance, tax deferred savings accounts, 10 backup daycare days each year, short- and long-term disability, commuter benefits and more.  For more information, click here.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\n<p>The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering educational content and communications that support Red and Blue University’s (RBU) learning strategy, enhance program consistency, and promote an exceptional employee experience throughout Suffolk. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires you to be on-site in our vibrant Boston office four days a week, where you can take advantage of free parking, an on-site gym, a cafeteria, and other perks that contribute to a welcoming culture and distinctive workplace environment!   </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure that the RBU’s intake process and SOPs are followed; identify areas of improvement</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Design and develop RBU content including online and classroom curriculum, ILT PowerPoints, micro-learnings, assessments, feedback surveys, progress evaluations</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure adherence to good instructional design principles and practices i.e. ADDIE and more</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support all ongoing training programs; manage and update all training material as needed</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support and execute on the organization-wide learning experience and communication strategy</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Troubleshoot learning system related issues in liaison with the HR Systems Manager</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Stay current with L&D Industry trends, technologies, and innovations to elevate learning offerings</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Continue self-development in foundational L&D related knowledge, skills and competencies</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Act as a Learner advocate across the populations at Suffolk, keeping the Learner’s experience first</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support the analysis of robust data from SME feedback surveys, course evaluations, field observations, self-study courses, and performance-based assessments to inform learning and development strategy</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support with the development and management of construction role-based, leadership, and professional development programs</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure exceptional customer service to all stakeholders of Suffolk’s Red & Blue University</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Human Resources, Instructional Design or related field </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>3 years of direct human resources or learning and development experience  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to assess employee needs and create content/solutions catering to those needs </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive)</p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Proven ability to develop engaging training material, lessons, and presentations across a variety of learning types and abilities </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience with LMS administration & management  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience with content creation tools such as Articulate 360, Vyyond or similar </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Collaborative, service-oriented, and results-driven  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Highly organized; able to prioritize and multi-task </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Resourceful with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; sound business judgement </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must possess Suffolk Core Values: Passion Hard Work, Integrity, Professionalism, and Caring </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Working Conditions</h2>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk’s total compensation package.  Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.  Suffolk offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall compensation strategy.  Salary ranges may differ by geography and are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.</p>",
