Perfect for culinary grads or cooks ready to level up in a fast‑paced, casual‑luxe steakhouse. Why We Need Your Talents: Line Cooks manage to prepare food and set up other necessary supplies. They make sure everything has been organized correctly before starting work. They use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for restaurants, to ensure a favorable dining experience for our guests. Compensation: $16.00 Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact: Preparation of all food items and maintaining the temperature of the items. Seasoning and garnishing food. Preparing all soups and sauces. Keeping the cooking area clean and in an orderly state. Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis. Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests. Monitor and adjust performance to local competition as warranted. Skills to Help You Succeed: Ability to: Use all kitchen equipment and appliances. Read and interpret basic instructions, production lists, menus, and banquet event orders Be creative with cooking and food preparation. Complete accurate record keeping. Knowledge of: Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Qualifications Must-Haves: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience. One (1) – three (3) years’ experience as a line of restaurant cook. Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license. Physical Requirements: Ability to: Stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning. Bend, stoop and reach while carrying food products, equipment, or waste. Lift, carry and deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workaround 500-degree ovens and work within 40-degree walk-in refrigerators. Use of stairs and elevators. Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
