We understand the need to promote our staff’s efforts, appreciate a balance in life and work, be collaborative in everything that we do and look to have teams in place that are as diverse as the clients/communities we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway design, zoning analysis, site plan preparation, site stormwater management, utility planning and layout, transportation planning/design, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, site ADA improvements, pavement and grading design.  </li>\n <li>Lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and local planning boards, as appropriate. </li>\n <li>Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.</li>\n <li>Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and bid packages.</li>\n <li>Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services.</li>\n <li>Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.</li>\n <li>Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction. </li>\n <li>Engage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support growth of the business in the region across LiRo-Hill’s service lines.</li>\n <li>Lead the preparation of technical content for proposals for civil engineering services.</li>\n <li>Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.</li>\n <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly and quarterly updates of project financials and revenue projections.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering </li>\n <li>MA Civil PE required</li>\n <li>Experience in working with various MA cities and townships, MBTA, Massport, and/or MassDOT </li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills </li>\n <li>Ability to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of local code and permitting requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate with the Regional Manager and other business units for pursuit of business opportunities and growth of the practice</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines</li>\n <li>AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Total Compensation Package</li>\n <li>Employee- Only Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Mentoring programs</li>\n <li>Continuing Education Program</li>\n <li>Employee referral bonus</li>\n <li>Volunteer/Industry association opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
