The role supports operational efficiency by balancing customer demand, production schedules, inventory targets, and material availability while partnering cross-functionally to drive consistency in MRP and production scheduling processes, process improvement, and effective execution across the network. \n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Team Supervision & Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the MRP planning team, including central MRP Controllers and associated support roles.</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development of team members.</li>\n <li>Work closely with Supply Planning, plants, and other internal departments to remove obstacles, improve material planning effectiveness, and ensure clear two-way communication.</li>\n <li>Represent the MRP planning function in cross-functional forums and act as a key contact for MRP, production scheduling, and related supply planning interface topics.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Production Scheduling & Material Planning</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain production scheduling strategies to support maximizing production efficiencies and minimizing material stockouts.</li>\n <li>Balance customer requirements with production scheduling adherence and inventory targets.</li>\n <li>Communicate market fluctuations and material planning changes clearly to the team and relevant stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Support hands-on production scheduling during peak periods as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Inventory & Material Planning</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the development and maintenance of inventory profiles by SKU, location, and customer to support service and supply objectives.</li>\n <li>Monitor material availability and MRP planning activities to support operational continuity and customer service objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Process Improvement & Operational Excellence</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to the improvement and standardization of MRP and production scheduling processes, escalation pathways, and communication routines.</li>\n <li>Identify recurring MRP and production scheduling issues and drive practical solutions that improve reliability, transparency, and execution discipline.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Systems & Data Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain MRP data setpoints within the ERP system.</li>\n <li>Support effective use and integration of MRP planning and data management tools.</li>\n <li>Drive visibility of system and master data issues affecting MRP and production scheduling quality and support resolution with the relevant teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain, operations, or related field</li>\n <li>APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent professional certification desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum five (5) years of experience in production planning and scheduling within a fast-paced manufacturing or similar industry environment</li>\n <li>Minimum three (3) years of managerial or supervisory experience overseeing employees, departmental operations, or both</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or similar platforms, preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of financial procedures and processes</li>\n <li>Knowledge of production planning and scheduling practices</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inventory control principles and processes</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization</li>\n <li>Ability to make quick, thorough decisions</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate and energize a team to produce winning solutions</li>\n <li>Ability to partner with and support colleagues both internally and externally</li>\n <li>Ability to work hands-on in an industrial manufacturing environment, as well as in a corporate environment</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li>\n <li>Ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization</li>\n <li>Ability to instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner</li>\n <li>Ability to support employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce</li>\n <li>Effective negotiation skills</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Effective prioritization and time management skills</li>\n <li>Follow-up skills</li>\n <li>Proactive in identifying areas of opportunity and suggesting ideas for improvement</li>\n <li>Effective public speaking and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Computer skills in MS Windows environment;
