As our organization continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and relationship-driven Director of Development & Fundraising to help expand our philanthropic footprint and strengthen the future of our mission. This is more than a fundraising role — it’s an opportunity to help build meaningful partnerships, connect communities to a life-saving mission, and create lasting impact for individuals and families across Maryland. What You’ll Do As the Director of Development & Fundraising, you’ll work closely with executive leadership, board members, donors, foundations, and community partners to grow philanthropic support and advance Santé’s mission. You will: Lead and support fundraising initiatives including donor engagement, sponsorships, grants, annual giving, and special events Build meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community stakeholders Help grow Santé’s unrestricted and privately contributed funding streams Collaborate with executive leadership and board members on fundraising strategy and donor engagement Support donor stewardship efforts through thoughtful communication, storytelling, impact reporting, and relationship-building Partner with external marketing and communications vendors to align fundraising campaigns and organizational messaging Represent Santé at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings Help identify new opportunities for community partnerships and philanthropic growth Support fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation events, and organizational visibility efforts across Maryland What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and people-centered — someone who enjoys building authentic relationships, communicating mission impact, and helping organizations grow through community support. Ideal candidates will have: 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, sponsorships, grants, or community engagement experience Experience building relationships with donors, corporate partners, foundations, or community organizations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell compelling mission-driven stories Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, community partnerships, or development initiatives Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Familiarity with donor CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar platforms Behavioral health, healthcare, nonprofit, social services, or mission-driven experience strongly preferred CFRE certification is a plus, but not required Why Join Santé?
