    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Manufacturing Manager<br><strong>Department:&nbsp;</strong>Manufacturing<br><strong>FLSA Status:&nbsp;</strong>Exempt<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The <strong>Manufacturing Manager</strong> oversees daily production operations within the plant. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for executing production schedules, managing production supervisors, and ensuring output meets safety, quality, and delivery requirements. The Manufacturing Manager acts as the link between plant leadership and the production floor.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties:&nbsp;</strong><em>(Additional duties may be assigned as required. )</em></p><ul><li>Manage day-to-day production operations to achieve output, quality, and delivery goals.</li><li>Get direction from the General Manager on job priorities and scheduling.</li><li>Prioritize work assignments/orders based on production schedules, material availability, or anticipated delays.</li><li>Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to meet production schedules.</li><li>Line up departments/shifts with job priorities for the day/week with assistance from the Production Coordinator.</li><li>Supervise and develop Production Supervisors / Team Leads.</li><li>Give 90-day and annual reviews to the hourly workforce.</li><li>Approve time and vacation in ADP for all shop employees.</li><li>Work with Human Resources to resolve employee issues as they arise.</li><li>Support employee training and skills development for operators and supervisors, including machining processes, speeds/feeds, tool selection, and best practices.</li><li>Update team members with MTD status on shipments, RMAs, resource issues, and projections through daily huddles.</li><li>Monitor KPIs such as throughput, scrap rates, downtime, labor efficiency, and identify shop inefficiencies.</li><li>Increase production throughput by reducing cycle times and improving part throughput.</li><li>Drive problem-solving and root cause analysis for production delays or quality issues.</li><li>Oversee and manage non-conformances through manufacturing.</li><li>Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production and safety issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, ISO processes, and enforce shop-floor safety practices.</li><li>Ensure all procedures, standard work, and ISO processes are followed by shop employees.</li><li>Implement and promote Lean manufacturing practices (5S, setup reduction, waste elimination) to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.</li><li>Report production performance and issues to the Plant Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field (preferred).</li><li>5&ndash;8 years of production management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and resource planning.</li><li>Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Manage direct report employees in new manufacturing and repair department with the highest integrity. &nbsp;Work closely with Plant Manager to develop and execute manufacturing and repair plan. &nbsp;Responsible for interviewing, training, appraising, rewarding, directing, and disciplining employees. &nbsp;Supervise direct reports in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. &nbsp; Enforce company safety rules and policies. &nbsp;Address complaints and resolve problems.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;The requirements listed above, and below, are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. &nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Language Ability:</strong></p><p>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.</p><p><strong>Computer Skills:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Made2Manage, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university preferred; and/or 5-8 &nbsp;years related production management experience in a manufacturing environment; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p><strong>Specialized Training:</strong></p><p>Machine shop experience&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Machine shop skills.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints.</li><li>Mechanically inclined.</li><li>Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder knowledge.</li><li>CNC and manual machining knowledge.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
