The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.&nbsp; There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.</p>\n<p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>C++ application development</li>\n <li>Participate in application design and implementation</li>\n <li>Enhancement of existing technological platform.</li>\n <li>Development of back-end services</li>\n <li>Design and write unit tests</li>\n <li>Participate in code / design reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline</li>\n <li>5+ years’ experience in C++ programming.</li>\n <li>Strong skills in both structural and OO programming, C++: concepts, data structures, patterns, templates, multithreaded programming</li>\n <li>Experience in development using Visual Studio on Windows</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of databases.</li>\n <li>Extensive problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate at all levels within IT and the various Business Units</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and within a team, own issues and solve them</li>\n <li>Ability to recognize critical production and client-facing issues, and prioritize them</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Desirable Skills:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Finance background, particularly in Fixed Income</li>\n <li>Experience with Perl scripting&nbsp;</li>\n <li>JavaScript knowledge/experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with FIX protocol</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of communication protocol fundamentals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Additional Information</b></p>\n<p>Tradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
