Be part of a team that shares your passion and drive, and start living your purpose at Better Health Group.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Objective:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The EMR Trainer is an operational role, acting as a representative and advocate in the design, development, implementation, and adoption of the electronic medical records (EMR) and other patient care systems. The incumbent will ensure providers are trained on the EMR System and other patient care systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Train team members, including providers, on EMR and other patient care systems</li>\n <li>Promote and adopt the utilization of EMR by ensuring physician practices are trained on the EMR and other patient care systems</li>\n <li>Define, analyze, and adapt clinical department workflows to support the design, implementation, and utilization of EMR and other systems</li>\n <li>Conduct critical analysis of issues inhibiting or preventing adoption and utilization of EMR by nursing and other clinical disciplines</li>\n <li>Act as facility coordinator for communication to Super Users and end users regarding updates, issues, and implementation</li>\n <li>Respond and follow up with staff and management in timely manner</li>\n <li>Partner with division leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and IS to drive clinical transformation to meet EMR project goals and desired outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements/ Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Health Information Technology, Health Administration or similar healthcare field required, or at least 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of education requirement</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience conducting computer application or other technical training in a professional environment in the healthcare industry</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of physician offices and their front and back office workflows, preferred</li>\n <li>Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and eClinicalWorks preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to all areas of the organization, both locally and remote</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Communicating with others to exchange information</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers</li>\n <li>Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Attributes/ Skills:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principles</li>\n <li>An effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments</li>\n <li>Is able to work within our Better Health environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passion</li>\n <li>Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality</li>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in the mentoring, coaching, and teaching of others</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of workflow redesign and process improvement associated with EMR and/or patient care systems</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and to consistently exercise sound judgment and initiative in a wide range of circumstances</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in facilitating and leading teams and projects</li>\n <li>Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare moderately complex written materials such as software documentation</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing information management concepts and methods to non-technical users</li>\n <li>Experience building high-performing teams and leading transformational change efforts</li>\n <li>Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams; ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n</ul>",
