Just ask and we are happy to discuss with you!  </p>\n<p>Some weekend availability required.</p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hourly pay with paid meal breaks.</li>\n <li>Scholarship Program / Education Assistance.</li>\n <li>Employee Recognition.</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program.</li>\n <li>Retirement Savings with company match. </li>\n <li>Time and one - half paid for all hours worked on six major holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBLITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Verify operation of all exterior door alarms.</li>\n <li>Conduct hourly rounds, interior and exterior check to include: door security, windows, door alarms, lighting (interior and exterior for proper operation).</li>\n <li>Monitoring all staff, entering and exiting the facility.</li>\n <li>Monitoring special functions.</li>\n <li>Turn off lighting, AD or other appliances – nonessential as necessary.</li>\n <li>Monitoring heating system.</li>\n <li>Routine checks with charge nurse at nurse’s station.</li>\n <li>Respond to Independent Living pendant or call lights alerts that are reported through the walkie-talkie system or computer software system.</li>\n <li>Call 911 immediately if a resident is not responsive or needs immediate medical attention.</li>\n <li>Respond to all fire alarms, assist Fire Department in locating and resolving alarm.  </li>\n <li>May require speedy response and the ascending and descending of as many as four flights of stairs.</li>\n <li>Call Nashua Police Department to check out strangers as necessary.</li>\n <li>Complete daily Maintenance and Security Log, which includes: monitoring heating plant operation and recording of pump and temperature readings.</li>\n <li>Notify Maintenance of any building issues or concerns that may arise.</li>\n <li>Report all emergencies to the Director of Plant Operations.</li>\n <li>Help with nightly trash and help with delivering large packages a needed.</li>\n <li>Assist with seasonal outdoor duties including snow removal, salting, brushing off cars as needed. </li>\n <li>Assume responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment.</li>\n <li>Attend annual in-service programs including but not limited to: body mechanics, right-to-know information and fire and safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pushing, pulling and stair climbing. </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to read, speak, write and follow simple oral instructions.</li>\n <li>Must be computer literate: Microsoft word</li>\n <li>Some mechanical and electrical knowledge and a working knowledge of the trades.</li>\n <li>Must have ability to read, speak and write and follow simple oral instructions.</li>\n <li>High school education or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Silverstone Living is a non-profit organization supporting Hunt Community, The Huntington at Nashua,  At Home by Hunt and Webster at Rye.
