    "description": "<p><span>Ashtead Technology are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to join our  team in Westhill. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you'll play a key part in commercial and financial decision-making, providing robust analysis and helping deliver outstanding business performance. </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This position combines financial management, business partnering, reporting, forecasting, and operational support within a fast-paced environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a 4-month fixed-term contract position. If you are interested in the permanent position, please see the separate application <a href=\"https://ashteadtechnology.bamboohr.com/careers/346?source=aWQ9OA%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here</a>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partnering with regional leadership to provide financial and commercial insight that supports decision-making, drives performance, and identifies opportunities for improvement.</li>\n<li>Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and financial performance reviews, providing clear analysis and commentary to key stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Managing regional cash flow and working capital performance, including debtor management, payment approvals, inventory controls, and capital expenditure reporting.</li>\n<li>Supporting commercial activity through financial input into bids, tenders, business cases, and investment decisions.</li>\n<li>Ensuring robust financial governance through balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting support, payroll review, and compliance with tax and audit requirements.</li>\n<li>Building strong relationships with operational teams, group finance, and external advisors to support the delivery of regional and group objectives.</li>\n<li>Undertaking ad hoc analysis and projects to support the Regional Manager, Group Finance Director, and wider business as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What experience you'll bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified, professionally qualified, or qualified by relevant finance experience.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and a positive, professional approach to your work.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.</li>\n<li>A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and provide meaningful insights.</li>\n<li>Excellent IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, addiional knowledge of NetSuite would be beneficial </li>\n<li>Experience of working within a commercially focused finance environment and partnering with operational stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are:</span></p>\n<p>Established in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
