This individual will play a critical role in reviewing applications, verifying business and financial information, and ensuring smooth processing of funding requests. The position requires a highly organized and self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As part of this role, occasional weekend coverage will be required, which will be compensated through paid overtime.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main Functions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review applications from prospective clients, performing checks and following up on opportunities needing attention.</li>\n<li>Organize, enter details, and save documents into Salesforce to assess a company's financial situation.</li>\n<li>Prioritize incoming requests from partners based on pre-determined criteria, including email correspondence and eligibility confirmation.</li>\n<li>Analyze submissions to determine if they can be declined at an early stage.</li>\n<li>Track the lifecycle of deals by proactively completing due diligence tasks.</li>\n<li>Work with proprietary data scoring models by verifying sales and performing credit checks on related business owners.</li>\n<li>Create agreements and verify customer details.</li>\n<li>Gather and synthesize business information by reviewing various sources, including internet searches, credit and bankruptcy reports, and industry information.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent (University/college degree is an asset).</li>\n<li>Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.</li>\n<li>Experience in administrative or financial roles preferred.</li>\n<li>High level of computer literacy.</li>\n<li>Comfortable in a busy operation and able to remain calm under pressure.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Potential Assets</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>French language skills.</li>\n<li>Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Success Factors</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Professionalism, integrity, and strong business acumen.</li>\n<li>Self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>An exciting position with a leading Canadian fintech company.</li>\n<li>A remote workplace with an option to work in office (we are in Gastown).</li>\n<li>Competitive salary with paid overtime for weekend coverage.</li>\n<li>Comprehensive group health benefits (Life, AD&amp;D, Extended Health &amp; Dental and Travel Insurance).</li>\n<li>Company-wide monthly Lunch and Learns and team events.</li>\n<li>A collaborative team environment.</li>\n<li>Education and learning benefits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only selected candidates for further consideration will be contacted.</p>",
