The Company has a highly experienced leadership team with a track record of successfully commercializing and deploying industrial technologies and is working towards the deployment of a first-of-a-kind commercial plant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Mangrove is seeking an exceptional individual to play a key role in their multidisciplinary engineering team. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pyrometallurgical Lead</span> will lead the design and optimization of pyrometallurgical processes for spodumene concentrate conversion to lithium chemicals (lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate) projects. This role is based in Vancouver/Delta, BC.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical leadership during feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and ramp-up.</li>\n<li>Oversee selection, sizing, and operation of kilns, calciners, and associated equipment and owning the vendor relationship.</li>\n<li>Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale test work for process development.</li>\n<li>Develop and validate mass and energy balances, heat transfer models, and process flow diagrams (PFDs/P&amp;IDs).</li>\n<li>Analyze process data to improve efficiency, recovery, and energy consumption.</li>\n<li>Support integration between pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical plant sections.</li>\n<li>Drive process efficiency improvements, including energy consumption reduction and heat recovery systems.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or a related field)</li>\n<li>7-10 years of experience in pyrometallurgy, preferably in lithium processing.</li>\n<li>Registered Professional Engineer within Canada/US, or the ability to readily become one.</li>\n<li>Experience with designing complex metallurgical flowsheets for pyrometallurgical operations, such as crushing, preheating, calcining, milling, mixing, roasting, process off-gas treatment, and material handling.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with process simulation software (SysCAD, Aspen) would be an asset.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of acid plants and electrochemical plants would be an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Mangrove?</span></p>\n<p>At Mangrove Lithium, our people are at the core of our groundbreaking technology.
