Our rich diversity of people and ideas makes us a stronger, more innovative organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>This position is located at our York, PA location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The experienced Mechanic will perform repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles in the field and at construction sites. Our fleet includes pick-ups, bucket trucks, digger derricks, dozers, trenchers, excavators, backhoes, trailers and loaders and other related utility construction equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals. </li>\n <li>Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs.</li>\n <li>Ford, Peterbilt, John Deere, Altec, Terex, Versalift, International, Cat and Vermeer experience.  </li>\n <li>Ability to utilize laptop, smart devices and software as a tool of the trade. </li>\n <li>Need electrical troubleshooting experience. </li>\n <li>Be able to install and maintain telematics equipment such as Zonar. </li>\n <li>Hydraulic and engine repairs.</li>\n <li>Air brake repairs. </li>\n <li>Chassis repairs. </li>\n <li>Repair of construction type fleet equipment and vehicles (including all phases of aerial device repairs).</li>\n <li>Must be able to work with minimum supervision.</li>\n <li>Field welding and fabrication on dirt and rock engagement equipment. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems. </li>\n <li>25% travel required (travel expenses are reimbursed)</li>\n <li>Requires experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required. </li>\n <li>Experienced in welding and small fabrication. </li>\n <li>Must have at least 3 years experience working as a mechanic or service technician.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50LBs.</li>\n <li>Ability to walk – sometimes long distances over uneven and wet surfaces.</li>\n <li>The ability to work over time when required, sometimes with short/same day notice.</li>\n <li>Class\" A\" CDL required.
