Ideal candidate to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and resolve issues, automate routine tasks, and implement security best practices. Candidate collaborates with other IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining our Linux-based private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on creating automation, deployment, and monitoring scripts to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. This role requires expertise in Linux systems, cloud technologies, and scripting to ensure the smooth functioning of our private cloud environment. A candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.</li>\n <li>Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.</li>\n <li>Apply security patches and system updates regularly.</li>\n <li>Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.</li>\n <li>Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.</li>\n <li>Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with IT and development teams on infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Document system configurations and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure system security and compliance with policies.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support and guidance to users.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Automation and Scripting:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks, including deployment, configuration management, and system updates.</li>\n <li>Utilize tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate system provisioning and management.</li>\n <li>Create monitoring scripts to track system performance, detect anomalies, and generate alerts for proactive issue resolution.</li>\n <li>Infrastructure Management:</li>\n <li>Administer and maintain Linux-based private cloud systems, including servers, storage, and networking components.</li>\n <li>Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for efficiency and reliability.</li>\n <li>Support and Maintenance:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Provide technical support for Linux systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.</li>\n <li>Security and Compliance:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Implement and enforce security policies to protect the private cloud environment from unauthorized access and data breaches.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data protection and privacy.</li>\n <li>Collaboration and Documentation:</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features or improvements to the private cloud infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations</p>\n<p>Industry Consensus Standards</p>\n<p>Circet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Senior SME Level with 10-12 years of experience required</li>\n <li>Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Linux-based systems.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) and cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes).</li>\n <li>Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation and monitoring purposes.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge and experience working with commercial backup storage systems.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with network protocols, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.</li>\n <li>Experience in supporting Telecom IT systems is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Circet USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Veteran/Disabled.
