    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Business Risk & Controls Data Analyst supports the First Line of Defense (1LOD) Risk Management function by delivering data-driven insights, maintaining risk reporting, and enabling effective governance through analytics, dashboards, and reporting. This role partners closely with Business Risk Controls Officers (BRCO), Control Testing, and business stakeholders to enhance risk visibility, support Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes, and ensure data quality and integrity across key risk and performance indicators.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What You'll Do:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with Business Risk Control Officers (BRCOs) to support reporting and analytics required for Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the Control Testing Manager to produce reporting and data outputs required for control testing activities. </li>\n <li>Monitor exception reports to identify data quality issues, and support the identification, escalation, and remediation of issues impacting risk reporting and control effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Prepare, design, and maintain departmental reporting, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports to enhance visibility into risk and performance metrics.</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in reporting and analytics</li>\n <li>Analyze structured and semi-structured data to support risk identification, decision-making, and operational improvements.</li>\n <li>Maintain an inventory of department reporting tools, data sources, and associated control documentation to support governance and oversight requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist in regulatory examinations, and internal and external audits by providing reporting, analytics, and supporting documentation.</li>\n <li>Prepare executive-ready materials, including reporting packages, presentations, and visualizations for governance committees.</li>\n <li>Maintain thorough documentation of reporting methodologies, assumptions, and data sources to support audit and review processes.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with business lines, risk teams, and other stakeholders to validate data sources, align reporting outputs, and ensure consistency in risk reporting.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, including business lines, risk teams, and support functions.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance, support, and training to lines of business on reporting tools, dashboards, and compliance-related processes.</li>\n <li>Maintain strong product, system, and process knowledge to effectively support risk management activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, operations analytics, or a related analytical role.</li>\n <li>Experience within financial services or banking environments is preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, or audit environments.</li>\n <li>Exposure to KRIs/KPIs and governance reporting.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with regulatory expectations and audit processes.</li>\n <li>Strong ability to work with large data sets using structured analytical methods.</li>\n <li>Intermediate proficiency in data programming, querying, and analysis tools such as Microsoft SQL, Python, C#, or similar technologies.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools.</li>\n <li>Experience with reporting tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel).</li>\n <li>Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, executive-level narratives and visuals.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing leadership-facing materials.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple analytical requests simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment while maintaining accuracy and rig</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</li>\n <li>An equivalent combination of education and relevant analytical experience may be considered.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Instructions to Candidates</h2>\n<p>City National Bank of Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants.
