This role requires strong systems thinking, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and technical communication skills, along with the ability to operate effectively in rapidly evolving and ambiguous environments.</p>\n<p>This position offers the opportunity to help shape how AI technologies are integrated into mission operations while ensuring solutions remain trustworthy, operationally </p>\n<p><strong>Security Clearance Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>This position requires all candidates to be <strong>U.S. Citizens </strong>and <strong>possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Systems Engineering & Requirements Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply systems engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle, including concept development, requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, verification, validation, deployment, and operational support.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with government stakeholders and technical teams to develop and refine stakeholder requirements and mission needs.</li>\n <li>Coordinate across teams and organizations to ensure solutions satisfy technical and operational requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist in planning, tracking, and managing engineering activities, risks, dependencies, and technical decisions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>AI Systems Standards & Integration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the development of user-centric standards for human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop AI systems.</li>\n <li>Assist with cross-product integration activities to ensure consistency and interoperability across mission capabilities.</li>\n <li>Participate in the development, evaluation, and implementation of AI-related engineering standards and practices.</li>\n <li>Support technical implementation activities associated with AI-enabled mission systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Test & Evaluation Framework Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in the development, testing, and refinement of frameworks used to evaluate AI system performance, trustworthiness, and operational effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Participate in user testing activities and provide analysis of findings and recommendations.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the creation of engineering artifacts, reports, assessments, and recommendations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement & Technical Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Document and communicate technical information, recommendations, status, risks, and decisions both orally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Facilitate coordination among stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.</li>\n <li>Support technical briefings, working groups, and collaborative engineering activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Analysis & Problem Solving</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct analysis of alternatives and recommend engineering solutions.</li>\n <li>Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning.</li>\n <li>Engage in creative problem-solving and systems thinking activities to address mission challenges.</li>\n <li>Adapt quickly to changing priorities, evolving requirements, and uncertain environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>Minimum of six (6) years of systems engineering experience supporting complex technical programs, consistent with SE Level III requirements.</li>\n <li>Experience applying systems engineering principles across multiple lifecycle phases, including requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, verification, validation, and operational support.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting stakeholder requirements development, technical planning, risk management, and information management activities.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to analyze technical alternatives and recommend engineering solutions.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or advanced analytics initiatives.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop operational concepts.</li>\n <li>Experience developing engineering frameworks, standards, or evaluation methodologies.</li>\n <li>Experience facilitating cross-organizational collaboration among technical and mission stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Master's degree in a related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting test and evaluation activities.</li>\n
