You will be the first line of defense in deterring unwanted individuals from the area and maintaining a safe environment for staff, residents, and the community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Site Patrolling</strong>: Conduct regular mobile patrols around the exterior of the shelter to monitor any security threats, disturbances, or unusual activities.</li>\n <li><strong>Physical Security</strong>: Maintain a visible presence to ensure the safety of shelter staff, residents, and the surrounding area.</li>\n <li><strong>Incident Reporting:</strong> Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.</li>\n <li><strong>Threat Assessment:</strong> Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Communication:</strong> Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.</li>\n <li><strong>Collaboration</strong>: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.</li>\n <li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation and Record Keeping:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years of <strong>Mobile Security </strong>experience in a<strong> Shelter</strong></li>\n <li>Must have a valid<strong> Ontario Security License.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be at least <strong>25 years old</strong> or above for insurance purposes</li>\n <li>Must have valid <strong>G license and clean driving abstract</strong></li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Disclaimer</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
