We have been proudly serving Houston and surrounding areas, providing quality service and customized installation of commercial and industrial HVAC systems since 1996.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Description:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Work directly under the field supervisor to provide demand service to CAPS Industrial and Commercial Customers. Primarily responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to a variety of comfort and process classified and non-classified HVAC/R equipment including refrigeration, ice machines, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, chillers, rental equipment, VFD&rsquo;s, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, pressurizers, pneumatic controls, steam heating, dehumidifiers and humidifiers.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various classified and non-classified heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment in an industrial environment.</li><li>Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer&rsquo;s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.</li><li>Document equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, equipment number, building served, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.</li><li>Provide effective and efficient solutions to customers&rsquo; needs/demands.</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, estimating, supervisors and management.</li><li>Travel to job sites and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.</li><li>Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service the emergency needs of our customers.</li><li>Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.</li><li>Work within a field service software app and be able to navigate through basic computer skills.</li><li>Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Special Skills A Plus:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to read drawings, and blueprints<strong>.</strong></li><li>Chiller experience</li><li>Ice machine experience&nbsp;</li><li>Controls experience</li><li>Boiler and steam heating experience</li><li>Classified equipment experience</li><li>Aaon and Addison equipment experience</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Certification Required:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Basic Safety issued by HASC or ISTC,&nbsp;</li><li>TWIC card</li><li>Universal EPA certification</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have clear background, Drug free, and clear driving record.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be very dependable and punctual.</li><li>Must be able to work well in a with a team setting.</li><li>Knowledgeable of Industrial HVAC Equipment such as DX, Water Cooled Chill Water, Air Pressurization and Scrubber Systems as well as Energy management controls both Pneumatic and Digital Controls.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Industrial safety requirements, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Must be flexible to work various work schedules driven by customer demands.</li><li>Safety Orientated.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work on DX comfort and process cooling/heating equipment up to 50 tons.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.</li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavy items (with additional manpower or appropriate lifting devices).</li><li>Ability to carry ladders and work from heights.</li><li>Ability to read schematics.</li><li>Basic computer skills and the ability to work within app-based software.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Experience Required:</strong></p><p>3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of HVAC/R equipment.</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401K &amp; company match</li><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision plan</li><li>Prescription drug plan</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Life insurance, long and short-term disability paid by employer.</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral and commission program</li><li>Company vehicle, gas card and ez-tag.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
