SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Elicit, analyze, and document software requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of business and technical needs. Define and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from concept to implementation and validation. Work closely with product managers, software developers, testers, and UX/UI designers. Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide development and testing. Support testing teams by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and participating in software validation activities to ensure compliance with requirements. Manage requirement changes by assessing their impact on the project scope, timeline, and cost MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BSc degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering 5+ years of expreience in automotive engineering, and at least 2 yars of experience in requirement engineering Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g. Doors, Polarion, Jira). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details to stakeholders. Familiarity with defect management processes and tools.
