25, 2026, </span>to support, enhance, and modernize a diverse portfolio of business applications and integrations across a modern Microsoft-based environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a senior, hands-on technical role focused on solving complex problems, improving system reliability, and building practical solutions that help the organization operate more effectively.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Working across a mix of legacy and cloud-based systems, you will troubleshoot critical issues, implement enhancements and automation, and contribute to modernization initiatives that strengthen Saint John Energy's digital capabilities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will collaborate closely with architects, analysts, project managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure applications are reliable, integrated, and ready to scale as Saint John Energy continues its transformation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The core responsibilities for this role include:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide advanced support for business-critical applications and integrations</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across applications, APIs, databases, and connected systems</li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis on incidents and recurring issues, implementing long-term fixes</li>\n<li>Design and implement enhancements, automation, and operational improvements</li>\n<li>Help improve application deployment, automation, and operational practices using scripting and modern DevOps tools</li>\n<li>Plan and implement system upgrades, releases, and migrations, including validation and issue resolution</li>\n<li>Support and maintain application databases, including troubleshooting, performance, data integrity, and operational support</li>\n<li>Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and integration impacts across applications</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and support procedures</li>\n<li>Contribute to modernization efforts, including improving legacy systems and supporting adoption of newer platforms</li>\n<li>Work within established incident, problem, and change management processes, but also help improve them</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supporting Our Active Grid Initiative</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Saint John Energy is advancing an Active Grid model to enable more dynamic, real-time management of the electricity distribution system.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support systems that enable real-time grid visibility and coordination</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot integrations between operational technology (OT) and business systems (IT)</li>\n<li>Ensure reliability of systems supporting AMI, grid operations, customer platforms, and field systems</li>\n<li>Maintain stable, integrated application and data flows that support operational decision-making</li>\n<li>Identify and resolve issues that impact system performance, data reliability, and operational outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This role plays an important part in ensuring the systems supporting Active Grid are reliable, integrated, and ready to scale.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technology Environment</span></p>\n<p>You will work in a highly integrated environment that includes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft and Esri based technologies, including Azure services, integrations, and identity management</li>\n<li>API-driven hybrid environments spanning legacy and cloud-based applications</li>\n<li>Utility platforms supporting customer, asset, and operational processes</li>\n<li>Systems enabling operational visibility, reporting, and analytics</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>40 Hours per week</li>\n<li>Inside office environment.</li>\n<li>Sitting and standing for moderate periods.</li>\n<li>Occasional after-hours support during critical incidents or major system changes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you Bring:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5–10 years of relevant experience in application support, systems integration, or software operations, with demonstrated ability to independently support and improve complex, business-critical systems.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.</li>\n<li>Experience working across both legacy and modern cloud-based platforms</li>\n<li>Experience supporting applications and integrations in operational technology (OT) environments, such as utilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations, is considered a strong asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, integrations, and databases</li>\n<li>Experience with APIs and scripting using tools such as Python, PowerShell, and SQL</li>\n<li>Experience with Git or other version control tools</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Microsoft-based environments, including Azure and cloud services</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of system integrations and application dependencies</li>\n<li>Experience with incident, problem, and change management (ITIL)</li>\n<li>Certifications such as Microsoft Azure, ESRI, Fabric, ITIL Foundation, Power Platform, or related technical credentials are considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How You
