We encourage you to learn more about opportunities with Pioneer Metal Finishing and join our team today!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Instruct, train, and coach maintenance personnel in all aspects of the job, including the proper maintenance techniques, safety requirements, and plant operations. Performs maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems that are necessary to the operation of the plant and offices at the facility. Provides direct supervision for hourly employees within their department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintenance Operations & Troubleshooting - Lead and perform maintenance, repair, installation, fabrication, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and heating systems. Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with outside vendors as needed for specialized repairs or services and maintain strong, professional relationships to ensure reliable support and timely issue resolution. </li>\n <li>Preventative Maintenance - Develop, schedule and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all plant equipment. Perform required start-up, shutdown, and inspection procedures to sustain reliability and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Safety & Compliance - Ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations. Administer required safety training and promptly address cited issues.</li>\n <li>Team Leadership & Development - Supervisor, train and coach maintenance staff in best practices, safety, and technical skills. Conduct pefromance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and parter with HR on performance management and disciplinary actions. </li>\n <li>Budget & Inventory Management - Work within the department's budget and plan accordingly to meet operational and maintenance needs. Oversee purchase orders, vendor approvals, and inventory control to ensure availability of parts and materials. Audit and maintain critical spares list to ensure plant efficiency. </li>\n <li>Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Partner with other departments to align maintenance activities with production goals. Identify process improvement opportunities, engage the team in solutions, and support company-wide quality, efficiency, and housekeeping intiatives. </li>\n <li>Emergency Response & Customer Support - Respond to equipment and facility emergencies as needed.
