This position provides experience With minimal direction, provides support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The EDI/XML SME will provide support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.</li>\n <li> Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. </li>\n <li>Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills. </li>\n <li>Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. </li>\n <li>Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. </li>\n <li>Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. </li>\n <li>Work is performed without appreciable direction. </li>\n <li>Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to communicate accurate information</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field, specifically EDI/XML electronic data exchange experience (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology), and a specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, operations research). </li>\n <li>Expert experience in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, transportation, and operations research).</li>\n <li>Require first-hand knowledge of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>DoD/Component policies, business procedures, business rules, data standards and transaction standards (both DLMS and legacy formats) in support of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accountability Procedures (MILSTRAP), Military Standard Billing System (MILSBILLS), Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) and Web SDR, DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD)/Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD), Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS), Physical Inventory and transaction standards in support of seamless integration with the supply/logistics domain</li>\n   <li>DLA Distribution Depot operations, procedures, and supporting automated information systems (e.g., Distribution Standard System)</li>\n   <li>DLA Materiel Management operations, procedures, and supporting automated information systems (e.g., Enterprise Business System</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: 100-150k</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (PPO & HSA options available)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care & Dependent Care FSA)</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>401(k) with matching contributions</li>\n <li>Roth</li>\n <li>Qualified Transportation Expense with matching contributions</li>\n <li>Short Term Disability</li>\n <li>Long Term Disability</li>\n <li>Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment</li>\n <li>Basic & Voluntary Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Wellness Program</li>\n <li>PTO</li>\n <li>11 Holidays</li>\n <li>Professional Development Reimbursement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please contact [email protected] with any questions!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Amyx is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
