Apply today and become part of a team committed to making a difference! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong><strong> </strong> </p>\n<p>Monday- Friday 9a-530p</p>\n<p>Sunday 8a-12p (approximately every 6 weeks)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits and perks for You!</strong><strong> </strong>   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision insurance   </li>\n <li>Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare)   </li>\n <li>Tuition discounts & reimbursement   </li>\n <li>401(k) </li>\n <li>Company Paid Time Off </li>\n <li>Shift Differential </li>\n <li>DailyPay</li>\n <li>Pet Insurance</li>\n <li>Employee wellness and discount programs </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>How YOU will benefit:</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supportive team with room to work independently</li>\n <li>Ongoing training and career growth</li>\n <li>Advancement opportunities in a growing company</li>\n <li>Referral bonuses</li>\n <li><strong>We cover Pharmacy Technician license fees</strong> (new hires & current staff eligible)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong><u>As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee you will: </u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Prescription Fulfillment & Accuracy</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fills prescription items in compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery while meeting accuracy and productivity standards.</li>\n <li>Labels products with cautionary and auxiliary information to ensure patient safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Medication Preparation & Compounding</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, with experience in non-sterile compounding.</li>\n <li>Performs sterile compounding and IV prescription preparation in accordance with PharMerica’s quality standards and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.</li>\n <li>Cleans and maintains sterile compounding rooms per USP 797 guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Inventory & Supply Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in periodic pharmacy inventory, checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing expired items.</li>\n <li>Reconciles and fills Emergency Drug Kit (EDK) boxes as needed.</li>\n <li>Processes returned medications for credit or destruction in compliance with regulatory standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Order Entry & Documentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs order entry for new and refill prescriptions with precision.</li>\n <li>Files documentation as required by pharmacy regulations to maintain compliance and audit readiness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Customer & Facility Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responds to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and accurate information.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with facility staff to ensure timely medication delivery and resolution of issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs other assigned tasks to support pharmacy operations and patient care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong>  </p>\n<p>Required:   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent.  </li>\n <li>Ability to operate a computer</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Capacity to work independently and collaborate with a team accurately and efficiently</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day </em> </p>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Pharmacy Alternatives®, an affiliate of PharMerica, is a specialized pharmacy provider focused on serving individuals with cognitive or intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
