The ideal candidate is a &ldquo;seller-doer&rdquo; with experience in pursuing business opportunities while leading and supervising a multi-discipline team. <strong>The Senior Civil Engineer (Transportation)</strong> will have an active role in business development for the Memphis office and will be empowered to grow the transportation engineering business and add backlog through new and existing clients.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school (a master&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering is a plus.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">10+ Years of transportation engineering experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current Professional Engineering registration in the State of Mississippi OR current Professional Engineer another U.S. State with the ability to successfully obtain registration in the State of Mississippi within one year from date of application submittal to SOL.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with internal and external partners including clients, sub consultants and utility companies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent time and project management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Very organized, dependable, and professional.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with mandatory/permitting at federal, state, regional, county, and local levels is a plus.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency at producing construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Duties</strong></p><ul><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>The <strong>Senior Civil Engineer (Transportation)</strong> leads and manages roadway design projects and project delivery teams from concept through completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, and within budget.
