    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment including troubleshooting and operator assisted maintenance. Operators will gain a thorough understanding of the processes and equipment operation and understand how safety can be impacted by any process change.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs all functions safely within the production areas</li>\n <li>Operates production equipment including troubleshooting and operator-assisted maintenance activities</li>\n <li>Learns and rotates to all jobs including floor operation, control room and quality control operations</li>\n <li>Supports maintenance through proper lock-out tag-out of equipment and issuing safety work permits when required</li>\n <li>Strictly follows all production specification sheets and Standard Operating Procedures</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate records of all observations and results</li>\n <li>Accurately and thoroughly reports data through written and oral reports to leadership</li>\n <li>Enters work notifications into SAP when malfunctioning equipment is identified and assists with initial trouble-shooting</li>\n <li>Accurately and timely reporting of all safety and environmental events</li>\n <li>Maintains and improves housekeeping standards in the work areas</li>\n <li>Participates in design discussions, writing and reviewing SOPs, performing line walk-downs, labeling equipment and other duties as assigned.         </li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Shifts </strong>Rotating shifts 12-hour shifts\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>12 hour - 7am – 7pm & 7pm – 7am – 4 days on, 4 days off, rotating shifts (on call)</li>\n</ul>* Must be able to work weekends & holidays \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous training and/or experience on forklift operations a plus.</li>\n <li><em>Candidates must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge and skills by completing the ACT WorkKeys assessment testing and attain required scores.</em></li>\n <li><strong>Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.</strong></li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop a thorough understanding of the processes and equipment operation and understand how safety can be impacted by any process changes.</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.</li>\n <li>Excellent observation skills.</li>\n <li>Adaptable and strong willingness to learn.</li>\n <li>Able to work in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Understanding of ESHA and other regulatory issues.</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical skills and analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in a team environment with limited supervision.</li>\n <li>Experience with safety programs in an industrial environment.</li>\n</ul>",
