    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc</span>. is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industrial Journeyman Electrician </span>to join our Industrial and Automation division. This position will work closely in the field to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industrial Journeyman Electrician </span>role is for individuals with solid industrial electrical experience who are ready to take on challenging work in automation, motor controls, and power systems. Our team works with three-phase power distribution, motors and motor controls, drives and controllers, relay logic, PLC automation, troubleshooting and repair, and control design and integration.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan/Install new or modified electrical installations in manufacturing, wastewater, and mining facilities, including installation of Motor Control Centers, pumps, conveyors, controls, instrumentation, and main distribution electrical systems.</li>\n<li>Using proper electrical tools, the candidate must be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembly, and electrical raceways.</li>\n<li>Perform troubleshooting procedures by observing the functionality of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.</li>\n<li>Perform “lock out-tag out” procedures enabling the ability to safely repair faulty electrical equipment or systems.</li>\n<li>Electrical construction experience.</li>\n<li>Must have working knowledge of journeyman level math and be proficient</li>\n<li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintain three-phase power distribution systems (permanent and portable).</li>\n<li>Work with VFDs, soft starts, HMIs, and PLCs.</li>\n<li>Design, install, maintain, and service motor control systems.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with print reading, controls, motor controls, control design, and troubleshooting.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of power distribution from 480V three-phase to 120V single-phase.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with three-phase and single-phase motors, terminations, splicing, load calculations, ampacity, wire sizing, voltage drop, and overload protection.</li>\n<li>Experience using test equipment such as meters, amp probes, power meters, and meggers.</li>\n<li>Ability to work at industrial site such as surface mine sites (sand and gravel pits, asphalt plants, concrete plants), oil and gas facilities, manufacturing plants, and other industrial environments.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).</li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of construction, reviewing and understanding blueprints.</li>\n<li>Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment, and handle differing priority level tasks.</li>\n<li>Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Codesys programming environment.</li>\n<li>Experience with Ignition SCADA/HMI platforms.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of industrial networking and Ethernet/IP communications.</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Valid Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician’s license (preferred).</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>MSHA certification or prior experience working on MSHA-regulated sites.</li>\n<li>Ability to work overtime as needed.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass a background check, have a clean MVR, and a valid driver’s license.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Industrial Journeyman Electrician</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Hunt Electric</span></p>\n<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
