Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and HR plays a visible, trusted role in supporting employees and leaders across the organization.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Where You Come In</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As our HR Generalist, you will serve as the primary HR support for Summit&rsquo;s Rock Hill facility while staying connected to our broader team through regular visits to Summit locations across our growing footprint.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role is highly visible and relationship driven, supporting employees and managers through recruiting, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support in a hands-on manufacturing environment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As Summit continues to grow, this role also offers meaningful opportunity for professional growth and expanded responsibility within the HR function.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage full cycle recruiting across Summit locations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Own onboarding activities and new hire compliance documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as the primary point of contact for workers&rsquo; compensation claims</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support employee relations matters, including coaching conversations, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy guidance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a visible and approachable HR presence for employees and managers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support FMLA and leave administration in partnership with the HR Director</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process employment verifications and unemployment claims</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support HR communications and employee engagement initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment laws and HR practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with the HR Director to support HR initiatives across MBP Group sister companies as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Travel regularly to Summit locations to build relationships and provide on-site HR support</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities for process improvement, organization, follow-up, and HR operational support</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Bring</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS platform</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of employment law, FMLA, ADA, and HR compliance fundamentals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment with regular interaction on the production floor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Willingness to travel regularly to Summit locations for on-site support and relationship building</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field a plus</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You genuinely enjoy working with people and building trusted relationships across the organization.
